Kenny Montgomery update

Beaver Bob's all time favorite Super Stock driver, Kenny Montgomery, has just undergone an 10 hour open heart surgery to repair issues that needed address. He is showing a strong recovery and has been taken off the respirator and breathing on his own. In talking with Kenny on Sunday he said he's looking forward to running with us again in 2011. Please keep him in your prayers. BB |

GRAHAM DADDY DOUBLES DOWN
WINS TOP STREET & STREET AUTO

Graham Daddy Taylor is out first over Mike Harpster's Mustang in the Top Street finals and on his way to picking up two tiles. Graham ran a 9.950 on a 9.93 at 134.81 MPH to Mike's close 9.802 on a 9.79 134.38 MPH.


The Street Stick finals matched two hitters with Dennis Henry's Mustang out first on a .036 light over Chris Shaffer's SS Furious .006. At the stripe it was Chris picking up the title with a 11.403 on an 11.40 at 115.59 MPH to Dennis's run out 11.398 on 11.40 at 119.96 MPH. It was a win by 11 inches!!

The finals of Street Auto was de'javu from Top Street with the same results as Graham Daddy's Vega stopped Mike Harpster's Mustang with a great .006 light, running a 9.967 on a 9.93 at 129.51 MPH to Mike's 9.865 on a 9.80.

In the all `Busa Sport Bike finals it was Dave Davis coming from behind to take the win over "Fig" Newton with a 9.271 on a 9.20 at 151.13 MPH to Fig's run out 9.552 on a 9.60 at 144.11 MPH

Outlaw Street was an all Ford finals with Dewayne Harris in his Fairmont taking the title over Captain Ed Brady in the Leonard Long Mustang when the Captain ran a ground with a run out pass of 8.627 on a 8.64 at 149.85 MPH after great .024 light to Dwayne's .064 running a 12.319 on a 12.27 at 102.70 MPH.

It was an all Ford Lightning finals in Bone Stock Truck with Randy Seltzer drawing a red light with a -.040, giving the win to Rob Murphy. Rob ran a right on 11.455 on a 11.45 at 120.14 MPH to Randy's slowing 12.324 on a 12.10.
The race stands as the quickest Bone Stock Finals in the Beaver's history.

Cait Hile is out first in the ATV finals over Ricky Kuhl's Yamaha with a .047 light. Cait held on for the win with a 18.541 on a 18.48 at 64.96 MPH to Ricky's 13.106 on a 13.00 at 92.04 MPH.

In the Sport Compact finals Melissa Newton was out first on a much better light with her Subaru over Justin Stauder's Nissan. At the stripe, Melissa ran out by .001 with a 18.449 on a 18.45 at 73.40 MPH giving the title to the 240's 12.363 on a 12.00 at 120.12 MPH. Talk about a surprising ride, 120 MPH!!

The JR ATV title was on the line when Dalton roles left first over Shelley Brosius. Dalton has a far better light but took too much stripe giving Shelley her first ever win. Shelley carded a 11.196 on a 11.05 at 56.12 MPH to Dalt's run out 11.843 on a 11.87 at 50.45 MPH.

In the Duncannon Auto Repair ATV Special event that gave all the JR ATV kids a second race, Senior Champ, Shania Taylor is out first over JR Champ, Brian Vollman and held on for the win running a 13.789 on a 13.73 at 42.39 MPH to Brian's slowing 11.279 on a 11.08 at 53.40 MPH.

It was ladies only in the finals of the Senior ATV class with Shania Taylor facing Sarah Marks. Shania took the win running out least in taking the win with a 13.738 on a 13.79 at 42.91 MPH to Sarah's 10.679 on a 10.75 at 55.48 MPH.

WINNERS CIRCLE

Graham Daddy was hot, winning both Top Street and Street Auto. In both finals he defeated his son-in-law, Mike Harpster. Looks like "Father knows best".

Rob Murphy and the crew from Mountain Valley Customs took the title in
Bone Stock Truck with his 11 second Lightning.

Cait Hile took the ATV title and is pretty happy about it.

Shelley Brosius and the family, won her first JR ATV title.

Kyle Kohr and family won his 5th TCR title in his Dart.

Shania Taylor won the Duncannon Auto Repair ATV Special event on her Polaris Trail Boss. Copping both the Senior class and the Top ATV title.

RECORD HOLDER
Mikey McCracken set a new track record on Saturday's Test and Tune session recording 76 time shots from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. He also set a new record for pulling wheelies in one day. With 3 pulled in the burn out, 3 pulled going down track and 3 pulled coming down the return road, (3 for each gear change) that totals up to 684 wheelies. It's a record that will stand forever.
This Honda 50 was bought brand new by my uncle Bob Bush Back in 1978 and was my very first mini bike it is all oringal including the tires . Will need a new rear tire soon!!!
Mikey Mccracken Breaks a new record @ the Beaver!!!!!!!!!!
Mikey made 76 time shots on saturday starting at 10:00 and finishing @ 4:00 he didnt take a break just made loops 76 times and about 600 wheelies. He also broke the record for most times shots in a hour 18 of them !! Was a very long day
